The Challenge

Eight settling tanks required a technician to manually verify the oil sludge separation layer. Temperatures exceeding 120°C and heavy steam made every conventional sensor fail, creating a massive safety hazard and slowing production.

Our Solution

We designed a passive vision intelligence system. Custom mounted cameras observe each tank externally, eliminating heat exposure. A purpose built ML model processes the feed to calculate the separation layer height in real time.

The Results

Readings are transmitted directly to the existing Allen Bradley SCADA via Modbus over IP. The facility eliminated manual verification completely and achieved zero sensor exposure.
